Grip Care
Every Hendrikx grip is hand-painted and individually finished. With a little care, the colour and tack will stay true for many seasons of play.
After Every Round
Wipe the grip down with a soft, damp cloth to lift away dust, sweat and skin oils. A clean grip is a tacky grip — most loss of feel is simply build-up, not wear.
Deeper Cleaning
Once a month, clean with lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap. Work gently with a soft cloth or your fingertips, rinse, and pat dry. Never use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive sponges — they will dull the hand-painted finish.
The Hand-Painted Finish
Each grip is sealed with a protective layer, but the artwork beneath is delicate. Avoid dragging the grip across rough surfaces and store clubs so the grips are not pressed hard against one another.
Storage
Keep your clubs out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from extreme heat — a hot car boot in summer is the most common cause of premature fading and hardening.
When to Re-Grip
With regular play, expect a full season or more of true performance. If the surface stays slick after cleaning, or the colour has noticeably faded, it is time for a fresh grip. We are always happy to advise — reach us at atelier@hendrikxgolf.com.
